Snack Attack

I am always looking for new healthy snack ideas, I feel like I am always having the same things which gets quite boring. Here’s a list of my go-to snacks:

Cottage cheese with apple chunks, cinnamon and walnuts – reminiscent of apple pie (kind of)
Greek yogurt with ground flax seed and a drizzle of honey
Peppers with hummus
Cottage cheese or greek yogurt mixed with protein powder
An apple and some peanut butter/almonds/a piece of cheese
A smoothie with water, spinach, frozen berries, a banana
Hard boiled eggs with hummus

Snacks that seem healthy but aren’t:
Flavoured yogurt (too much sugar)
Granola bars (too much sugar)
Most protein bars (too much sugar, might as well eat a Snickers)
Most cereals/granola (too much sugar)
Muffins, bagels (too much sugar, ‘bad’ carbs)

HEALTHY TIP: Don’t go for the ‘low fat’ or ‘no fat’ options because replacing the missing fat is something artificial
